THE CHILDREN'S BULLETINS

What's the difference between Kidsword and Little Kidsword?
Strictly speaking, Kidsword is for grades 4-6, Little Kidsword for grades K-3.Kidsword assumes the child can read and follow instructions. Little Kidsword requires little reading, though there are slightly more difficult issues that a child may need some assistance with. You are the best judge as to which bulletin would work best for your kids. Best to take advantage of the deep discount for getting both and use the week's bulletin most suited to your kids.

If we subscribe for a year, when does that year begin?
It begins when we receive your subscription (or any date you request) and runs for 52 weeks thereafter.

How and how often do you send us our bulletins?
We no longer sell or ship hard copies. Whe only sell digital subscriptions and post the new issues online quarterly.

How does a digital subscription work?
It works terrifically well. You purchase the subscription online, then we send you a link and a password for the site where you can download any issue from the current quarter at your convenience. The file is in the pdf format (Adobe Acrobat) and can easily be printed on your printer.

Can we subscribe for less than a year?
Of course. You may subscribe quarter-by-quarter, or for the entire year.

May we cancel our subscription?
Yes, and you will be issued a refund for the remainder of the subscription. You may get a prorated refund for years subscription during the first three quarters. Once the fourth quarterhas begun, refunds are not issued.

THE MUSICALS

What do we receive for the cost of the musicals?
You receive a script, which you have permission to copy for your actors, and the music which you may burn onto CDs to distribute to your kids.

Can you send them digitally?
Actually we prefer to. Upon purchase, we'll email you a link to the play site where you can download all relevant materials.

What about a performance track?
It is included in the price, and available for download at the play's web address.

Have they been well received?
Yes. I am pleased to say that they have played to rave reviews for many years, and, as odd as it sounds, we have never been asked to refund a play, and never heard anything but gratitude and praise for them.

How about sheet music?
Unfortunately, sheet music is available for only two of the plays. We have melody lead sheets for the others.

May we cancel our subscription?
Yes, and you will be issued a refund for the remainder of the subscription. You may get a prorated refund for years subscription during the first three quarters. Once the fourth quarter has begun, refunds are not issued.

WHO WE ARE

What is Kidsword?
Kidsword and Little Kidsword are children's bulletins that present Scripture in a format of games, cartoons, and pencil activities for kids. Our customers represent nearly every Christian denomination, from Catholic to Pentecostal. We offer subscriptions based upon the lectionary readings in the Catholic, Episcopal, Lutheran, Methodist, and many Presbyterian churches, as well as bulletins based upon passages and themes in the Bible.

What is your thelogical bias?
Kidsword reflects no particular theological or doctrinal bias, though we are aware of and sensitive to all of them. Our goal is to present the Scripture readings in a creative, entertaining and challenging format such that the passages will become memorable and understandable to kids.

Who are you?
Kidsword began creating bulletins in 1985 for use at Christ Episcopal Church in Denver, Colorado, out of a desire to make each Sunday's scriptures better understood, interesting, and fun for the children there. Kidsword Inc. was founded as a result of the the growing interest other churches expressed in the material.
